🌳✨ Today, before we left Ayutthaya, we visited Wat Mahathat again. The temple grounds were full of wonder 🏯. As I walked, I saw the famous Buddha head in the tree roots 🌿. It was like magic had placed it there.
🕉️🌳 I learned that the Buddha statues here had no heads because of the Burmese invasion long ago. They took the heads to prove they had conquered Ayutthaya, leaving only memories behind. It felt like a silent symphony of history 🎻 echoing through the ruins.
